For those from overseas just joining us, in NZ although Xena is made in our fair isles, and one very lovely Kiwi playes Xena, it had not been shown here since the end of Season 3

According to us here-Xena has ended (permanently as far as we knew) with Gabrielle and Hope doing the big long fall into the larva river of death. TV4 show E! shows featureing Lucy Lawless as Xena. TV3 makes fun of obessive fans in news broadcasts. Wil either show Xena? Fuck no! We write, they reply with "soon, in the coming months", this can be translated as "When hell freezes over and the devil is hunting for a welding torch for his brass monkey we will continue showing Xena" . Obviously the temperature in hell plummetted as we are now viewing season 4 (Almost up to the new wonderful short hair Gabby).

The TV3mailbag was full and they finally asseeded to our demands.

People wrote and asked TV3 why weren't they showing Xena, which is more quality drama than "The worlds blankiest blank" which is filling our screens at the moment. Worst insult-they bought back Buffy, and not Xena (Not that we don't like Buffy). TV3 is generally cool and funky and their newsreaders are young and cute see the JCLFC, but in this they were being a wunch of.

We will Nationalise Xena: Warrior Princess and force TV3 and TVNZ to play X:WP everynight in primetime, from the first episodes until we catch up with the USA. Then we will Nationalise Rennaisence Pictures and get X:WP straight out of the editing studio before its shown in the USA.

Xena will be played from the start to the end of a season without interruptions from: sports, war, famine, nuclear disasters, or death of the Queen Mother (although she is a dear and we love her).

Scholarships will be provided for PhD students who spend more time whatching Xena than working on their PhD so they are rewarded for their loyalty, hard work, and academic anaylsis.

It was just too Ironic (in the non-Alanis Morisette meaning of the word) that Xena can be nominated for best NZ TV Series, and Lucy Lawless for Best Actress (deservedly) when TV3 would not play the 4th season. NZ watchers of this cult classic featuring the love affair between Xena and Gabrielle (yes, we know it's unconfrimed but subtext is now maintext), had to resort to bootleg NTSC copies from the States, and we all know that NTSC does not do the costumiers any justice (nor the actors)

Yes we love Gabrielle too, but we don't have a Gabrielle Standie to use in our promotional stunts
